We are looking for a motivated Student Engagement Coordinator to join our team.

**About The Hotel School (THS)**:
THS is a unique educational organisation partnered between education (Southern Cross University) and industry (Mulpha Education Group). We currently deliver undergraduate and postgraduate business degrees specialising within tourism, hospitality, events and hotel management.

Our campuses are in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Hayman Island.

**About the Role**:
Reporting to The Hotel School's Head of Campus and THS Student Engagement in Melbourne, the Student Engagement Coordinator is responsible for supporting current students of THS in a range of activities from orientation through to graduation and providing solutions to assist them whilst undertaking their studies in order to maximise the student experience.

The primary purpose of this role is to maintain a “student centric” mindset. You will achieve this by managing communications with the student body via a number of different channels and supporting the student associations across all locations.

The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications, skills, abilities and experience:

- Experience in the higher education industry is favourable
- Experience within either the hospitality / tourism industry is desirable
- Ability to work with a wide range of students both domestic and international, including school-leavers and mature-aged students
- Enthusiastic personality
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written communication
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team, and to coordinate competing tasks to maintain efficiency
- Demonstrated ability to establish good relationships and rapport with stakeholders both internal and external
- A capacity for adaptability and flexibility in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to demonstrate a high level organisational, administrative and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks
