We are searching for a **Commercial Analyst** to join our Spirits Finance Team in Sydney, reporting into our Head of Finance. You will partner with functional business leads to provide financial and commercial analysis and insights to enable better decisions and manage business performance. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter to make the role their own by establishing governance and improving processes to drive outcomes. This role offers the benefits of operating in a smaller, dynamic environment, where you will be close to the customer and marketplace, whilst delivering all the benefits of being within the larger Lion network. The role is hybrid, which means you’ll have the flexibility to work from the office and from home.

**A day in the life**
- Conduct data manipulation, modelling and analysis to provide commercial insights to business partners and support pricing decisions
- Ensure timely, accurate and insightful management of P&L and Balance Sheet
- Support forecasting and planning processes, identifying risks and opportunities to commercial performance
- Support the brand marketing team with innovation commercials and external, brand-owner relationships
- Drive simplification of systems and processes to support continuous improvement.

**What you’ll bring**
- Strong data, analytical modelling and system skills
- Experience generating and sharing value-adding insights
- A record of delivering system and process improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated relationship-building skills
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce/Accounting/Finance
- An accounting qualification (CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA) or working towards
- 4+ years of postgraduate experience, preferably in a commercial environment (we are open to first movers from top-tier accounting firms).
