**About the Role**:
Are you passionate about supporting leaders and managers in navigating complex employee performance issues? We are seeking a dedicated Principal Consultant to join our Performance Support Team (PST). In this role, you will provide a high-quality, specialist consultancy service using a case management approach. Your focus will be on supporting leaders with the management of unsatisfactory employee performance and non-compensable incapacity that affects employees' ability to meet the inherent requirements of their roles.

Working under broad direction, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, while frequently collaborating with your colleagues within the PST and other internal groups. The work is intensive, time-pressured, and often highly sensitive, requiring a strong commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct. The ability to navigate politically sensitive environments with discretion is essential.

**Desirable** **Qualifications**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Education, Human Resources or similar.

**Special Conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
ASO7 $108,109 - $116,864 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation.
