**Role Details**

The Department for Child Protection (DCP) is seeking a **Principal Workforce Strategy Consultant** to join on a full-time term basis.

Key strategies that the role is responsible for include:

- Leading DCP’s workforce planning in preparation for the introduction of the Social Workers Registration Scheme.
- Overseeing DCP’s White Ribbon accreditation and communication.
- Managing Office of the Commissioner for Public Sector Employment initiatives such as reviewing DCP’s diversity and inclusion strategy, which includes incorporating LGBTQI+ Rainbow Tick accreditation, and promoting the Autism Inclusion Charter.
- Developing and implementing a graduate program for DCP to embed student entry pathways and improve support for new entrants.
- Ensuring compliance with the Premier’s Direction regarding staff exit feedback and ensuring improvement in collecting and analysing exit data.

**About You**

We are looking for a workforce strategy expert to hit the ground running and assist in the implementation of key projects for DCP.

Proven experience planning and implementing agency wide projects and programs is essential, as well as high level knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures.

You will also have a proven ability to prepare sound and timely strategic advice to senior management utilising your excellent communication skills.
