**Sydney** branch based in
**Ingleburn** as a
**Medical Service Technician. **Reporting to the Medical Gas Manager you will be responsible to manage all medical equipment repairs, with scope for general warehousing in relation to medical products.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensuring all aspects of the medical workshop are within compliance i.e., calibration of test equipment, quality control procedures and measures are in place.
- Where possible provide back up support to medical drivers in the field, conduct on-site audits and servicing during field visits.
- Liaising with relevant suppliers on equipment /spare parts and ensuring adequate stock is available on site.
- Be the main point of call for warranty/sale repair items. Managing the process between Supagas and equipment manufacturers/distributors.
- Provide back up support for medical gas and equipment deliveries, repairs, and setups to all medical accounts.
- Maintain high levels of customer service and addressing any customer problems quickly and effectively.
- Assisting in general warehousing duties - Be the responsible person for dispatch/receipt of equipment related to the medical business.
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
- Work closely with medical administration to ensure on-site audit work is carried out in the required order and provide written reports on all activities carried out on site in a timely manner.
- Ensure current stock relating to medical servicing/repairs and the keeping of medical stock at optimum levels to meet the needs of the business, including the performance of stock take.
- Conduct all work within and fulfill all requirements of the company’s quality and safety systems.
- Contribute to the overall strategic development of the company.
- Other tasks as requested from time to time.
- Required - Full drivers licence
- Desirable - experience in a biomedical field or role with exposure to mechanical parts / electrical componentry. Exposure to warehouse and/or workshop environments
- Preference will be given to applicants with experience in medical/general device servicing or similar business disciplines however acknowledgement of previous experience with a customer service focus will also be a key consideration.
- This position involves the provision of services to clients requiring you to undertake a National Police Check and Working with Children check and regular renewals as required.
