The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority, and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
About the role
An exciting opportunity has been created within our Strategy Branch as part of Strategy and Corporate Services of the Magistrates' Court of Victoria, an innovative and accessible court that delivers fair, transparent, and efficient justice for Victorians The Business Process Officer will be part of a small but dedicated team within MCV Strategy Branch that has oversight of projects across the jurisdiction, and will provide business analysis experience and expertise across part or all of the project lifecycle for assigned projects. This position operates within a complex, demanding and often challenging environment. As the Business Process Officer within the Strategy Branch you will work in collaboration with the project teams, key court administrative staff, the judiciary and key partner agencies to provide expertise and knowledge to develop, deliver, and implement strategic business and operational change. This will be done by delivering major and minor work packages that seek to create efficiencies aligning to our business values.
