**The role**

The Customer Care Representative proactively engages with some of our most vulnerable customers to provide them with support and guidance utilising our assistance options with the objective of ensuring a high level of customer service. The Customer Care Representative will also help achieve a balance between customer care and effective debt management. Functions performed by the Customer Care Representative adhere to regulatory guidelines, industry standards and Gippsland Water policies and procedures.

**What you’ll bring**
- Experience in resolving a range of complex customer queries in an empathetic manner.
- Experience in negotiating successful outcomes for vulnerable customers and customers experiencing financial difficulties.
- Advanced analytical skills.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including strong computer literacy skills.
