We currently have an opportunity for a Development Manager to join our Retirement Living business in our Canberra office. The position is for an initial 12-month term, with the potential of further extensions to the term.
The Retirement Living business is transitioning to a growth strategy led by organic development growth. This will involve new developments which include villa built-form, low, mid and high-rise apartment living and renewal development of our existing villages for an exclusive owner-occupier market.
**THE ROLE**:
- As Development Manager you will initially lead and deliver the Gold Creek retirement village development in Canberra, a retirement living development (adjoining The Grove Retirement Village).
- The Development will include 45 Independent Living Units and facilitation of an Aged Care facility on an adjoining site.
- Leading the project team on site to achieve targets by safely and efficiently delivering the project
- Liaising with the community and local government, sales teams whilst optimising revenues and project KPI’s.
**ABOUT YOU**:
- You will have exceptional stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated experience managing relationships both internally and externally
- Building networks and leveraging relationships to maximise opportunities
- A genuine passion for retirement living and the value it provides to residents and their families.
- You will be a team player who will work with technical specialists and the wider RL development team to build success.
