**About the Role**:
The Supplier Quality Assurance Advisor is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of products and components sourced from external suppliers. This role involves evaluating supplier quality performance, implementing quality control measures, conducting audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in the supply chain.

The Supplier Quality Assurance Advisor will play a critical role in maintaining high product standards and enhancing customer satisfaction.

**_Key objectives & responsibilities include:_**

- Evaluate potential suppliers for quality, reliability, and capability to meet company standards.
- Collaborate with project and procurement teams to establish quality requirements and standards for suppliers and supplier equipment.
- Provide guidance to suppliers on quality assurance processes, standards, and expectations.
- Develop and maintain Supplier Quality process and procedures consistent with ISO 9001.
- Conduct supplier audits to assess their quality management systems and identify areas for improvement.
- Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues related to supplied products and components.
- Monitor and analyse supplier quality performance metrics, identifying trends and address issues in a proactive manner.
- Generate and maintain reports on supplier quality performance for management review.

**_Required Skills / Experience / Attributes:_**
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline.
- Previous experience with supplier quality or other quality assurance roles.
- Internal auditor qualification.
- Understanding of quality control principles methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency with interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of industry quality standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Familiarity with Class requirements.
- Refined analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Hold a Construction safety induction (white card)

**_ Desirable:_**
- Lead Auditor qualification.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
- Conflict resolution, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
- Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP).
