**About the role**:
Working in Ecolab’s Healthcare division and based in Melbourne, we are seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to join our high-growth, innovation, and market leading business unit on a fixed term 12-month contract. We provide service, equipment and consumable solutions across a wide variety of healthcare areas including Infection Control, Endoscopy, Central Sterilising and Operating Theatres.
In this position, you will be directly responsible for retaining and growing accounts.
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Manage customer base and build relationships through professional demeanour, strong interpersonal skills and product knowledge
- Introduce new product offerings to existing customers
- Partner with customers to implement best practice processes
- Provide outstanding customer service, educate customers on ways to improve their patient outcomes and be relied upon as a specialist
- Travel within Victoria, including the occasional overnight stay.
**By nature, you will preferably demonstrate**:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build, maintain and retain relationships
- Excellent presentation and negotiation capabilities
- A positive and enthusiastic approach to solving challenges to exceed client expectations
- Be a self-starter with a positive desire to succeed
- Ability to work cross functionally across a diverse company
The role offers a high degree of autonomy and will suit a professional, well organised self-starter.
