Training and Development officer for a temporary 3 month contract located in Roma QLD.

Hays has partnered with a local government body based in Roma, seeking a Training and Development Officer to join their team - this is a fabulous outback adventure opportunity on a temporary 3 month contract. Throughout the region there is spectacular ancient landscapes, Queensland’s biggest bottle trees and what better way than to enjoy friendly outback hospitality

**Your new role**
As the Training and Development Officer you will be an integral team member to the Organisational Development and Human Resources department.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Ability to be able to support the HR function
- Provide specialist advice and deliver of training/learning and development programs
- Contribute to training plans and continuous improvement activities to improve service delivery
- Collation, analysis and monitoring of employee and organisational metrics to inform strategic decision making.
- Contribute to the preparation of Departmental budget.
- Organise mandatory training and workplace induction; ensuring employees are job ready and productive i.e., coordination and delivery of employee induction and refresher training, probation, and skill verification processes.
- High level of computer skills and intermediate Excel skills
- A current “C” Class Driving Licence and able to provide two current references.
