Are you an accurate and efficient Accounts Payable expert, who excels in a fast-paced, yet flexible environment within a supportive and collaborative team? We have a new opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Corporate Finance Division, on a permanent part-time basis.

This role would suit someone who is able to work school-hours from Monday to Friday, however we are open to discussing alternative working hours. This is a varied role, which offers development opportunities, flexible work arrangements & an inclusive enjoyable work atmosphere.

Reporting to the Superintendent, Procurement, you will work with Payroll and the Group Accounting team to provide effective and efficient support relating to (but not confined to) Accounts Payables, records management, purchasing and administrative services. Furthermore, you will assist in maintaining and enhancing controls (financial, business process), to drive internal and external regulatory compliance.

**Key Accountabilities will include**:

- Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyse, and interpret relevant financial data., which include but not limited to GRNI, Aged Creditors.
- Receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices and statements.
- Comparing system reports to balances and verifying entries.
- Charging expenses to accounts and cost centres,
- Verifying supplier accounts, and resolving purchase order, invoice, or payment discrepancies.
- Monitoring expense claims, including oversea’ s expat claims.
- Reconciling account transactions with the general ledger.
- Performing recordkeeping and preparing reports on analysis completed.
- Performs other duties as required to support the Accounts Payables team as directed.

**Key skills and experience required for you to thrive in this role, will include**:

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as an account’s specialist, or similar.
- Advanced competency in accounting and business management software, such as Pronto, SAP is essential to the role.
- In-depth knowledge of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
- Extensive experience in account reconciliation.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills: with the ability to work with people at all levels and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated strong, organisational, time management and planning skills.
