Fantastic WA State Government opportunity as an Accounts Payable Officer.
**Your new company**
We have partnered with a government department client to assist in their search for an Accounts Payable Officer. It is a busy team, therefore previous experience in an AP role is essential. The office is based in Perth CBD with access to public transport. This role has a non-negotiable requirement to undergo background screening of all temporary contractors prior to starting your role.
**Your new role**
As an Accounts Payable Officer, your responsibilities will include:
- Invoice processing and uploading into system
- Prepare invoices for payment
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Reconciliation of invoices
- Managing invoice mailbox
- Data entry
**What you'll need to succeed**
Previous experience in accounts payable is essential, as is:
- Ability to process high volumes of invoices (70+ per day)
- Administrative and data entry skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
