**Introduction**:
We have a permanent full time role available for a Security Officer with a focus on front of house screening and access control at restricted access location. Join a well established and supportive team working in a busy and varied role where you can utilise your customer relationship skills.

**Description**:
**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Front of house screening utilising x-ray machines
- Explosive trace testing
- Visitor / Staff access control
- Customer assistance
- Incident response
- Report writing

The role is working a 4 on, 4 off roster.

2 x day shifts 0600-1800

2 x night shifts 1800 - 0600

You will be paid as per the award as a level 4 security officer:
$25.41 per hour plus applicable penalty rates

**Skills and Experiences**:

- Valid QLD Security Licence with Crowd Controller component
- Valid Yellow card
- Security Certificates
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Proof of Australian Work Rights
- Previous screening experience utilising x-ray machines (Highly desirable)
- The ability to work closely with the client and Securecorp to ensure all service deliveries are provided in line with client expectation and best practice.
- Impeccable Administration skills
- Highly developed Communication Skills
- Strong Time Management skills
