We are seeking a hardworking, reliable team player to join our dental team. Although experience is a bonus, for any enthusiastic and passionate newcomer to the dental industry, we can provide excellent on-board training and support as well as early career progression opportunities within the role.

We are a busy, family owned, 3 surgery dental practice that offers exceptional and honest family dental treatment. We pride ourselves on a relaxed working environment that enables us to guarantee our patients are treated individually with care and empathy.

**Requirements and Responsibilities**

Whilst this role is predominantly a clinical assisting role, all our staff are expected to be fully trained and work competently in all areas of the practice including reception and sterilisation.

You will be required to demonstrate the following attributes
- Confidently discuss treatment options with patients
- Clear and confident communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with care and understanding to patients and fellow staff.
- Work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritise and organise workloads.
- Adequately manage your time and use these skills to ensure the smooth running of the appointment book and all administrative responsibilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in following procedures and protocols.

**Job Perks**

The practice is nestled in the leafy suburbs of Balmoral and provides easy access to the city and public transport.

While experience or a background in dental care is preferred, it is not essential, and training and support will be provided.

Staff are paid above award rates and annual performance appraisals are routinely conducted.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Fixed shift

- Penalty rates
- Performance bonus
