Pay Rate: $35 -$40 per hour, plus superannuation and leave entitlements

Vehicle allowance: 98c per km provided

Contract type: Permanent Part Time

Days/Hours: 30 hours per week

· Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday

· 6:30am – 4:30pm

· Thursdays are flexible if the nanny prefers shorter hours. Mum will be home but plans to use the day for appointments and errands. The family is happy to offer the full day if preferred.

About the Family

This warm and outdoorsy family loves spending time together and making memories with their cheeky one-year-old boy (currently 13 m. He's just started walking, still takes two naps a day, and is happiest when exploring. Water play, car rides, pressing buttons on toys (or remotes), and enjoying good food — especially hot chips — are some of his favourites. Family life is full of fun and adventure, from picnics and playground visits to music and sensory play groups, library rhyme time, trike rides around the oval, and long walks with their two big, friendly groodles. Both parents are working professionals and cherish quality family time, filling it with laughter, play, and plenty of fresh air. What We're Looking For

We're seeking a warm, professional nanny who loves little ones and making each day playful, engaging, and full of learning. You'll have experience with infants and toddlers, understand developmental milestones, and be confident with routines to help our little one thrive. Outdoor adventures, nature walks, and fresh-air play are a must, along with creativity for arts, crafts, sensory play, and following the child's interests. The ideal nanny is patient, nurturing, and brings gentle guidance, while also helping around the home with child-related tasks. Reliability, a sense of fun, and a long-term commitment are key.

Key Tasks

· Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for a one-year-old

· Follow daily routines: feeding, naps (2 per day), and transitions

· Lead fun, age-appropriate activities: arts, crafts, sensory play, music, and movement

· Encourage curiosity, independence, and developmental milestones (walking, fine motor skills, early speech)

· Supervise outdoor adventures: park visits, picnics, trike rides, and nature walks

· Plan and explore local activities: playgroups, library visits, music groups, and community events

· Prepare healthy meals and toddler-friendly snacks

· Assist with batch cooking toddler meals occasionally

· Read, sing, and engage in open-ended play throughout the day

· Change nappies and support toilet training when ready

· Tidy play areas, bedrooms, and child-related spaces; restock nappies and wipes

· Wash bottles, toddler dishes, and clean up after meals/snacks

· Support light child-related household tasks and occasional errands

· Communicate openly and respectfully with parents about the child's day and development

Transport

Own vehicle required with fuel allowance (this role is possible without a vehicle)

Requirements

· Blue Card and Police Check

· First Aid & CPR Certificate

· Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role

· 2 x reference checks

· Open driver's licence

· Long-term availability

Experience:

• Nannying or professional childcare: 2 years (Required)

Licence/Certification:

• First and CPR Certification (Preferred)
