Based in Waratah (Newcastle), accommodation choices range from independent living at our Maroba Terrace units through to full care (including dementia, Alzheimer’s and palliative care) at both Maroba Lodge and Maroba Manor.

We are currently seeking to recruit a number of Care Service Trainees to join our dedicated care teams in the delivery of care. If you are passionate about aged care and making a difference in the lives of others and are ready to start a new career, we want to hear from you

You will be responsible for providing quality day to day care to residents in accordance with their care plan and ensuring their security, privacy and dignity.

**What are we looking for?**

- Empathetic and kind
- Alert, observant, active and able to use judgment and initiative
- Ability to work shift work - morning and afternoon shifts on a rotating roster will be required.

You will be surrounded by a highly skilled clinical and care team, we will provide you with ongoing development and training opportunities. You will gain practical experience working part time at Maroba over a fourteen month period whilst studying to complete your Certificate lll in Individual Support. Following completion of your traineeship there is a probability of ongoing permanent work.
