**Your Opportunity**:

- Manage the activities of the Transition and Partnership Team to effectively develop and implement strategic policy and initiatives relating to transitions, with a focus on vulnerable and disadvantaged children.
- Collaborate with the regional State Schooling Team in the implementation of Early Years Coaches.

**About the Role**:
Your responsibilities within this role will include, but not be limited to:

- Lead and manage an early childhood education and care (ECEC) team in the delivery of regional services.
- Manage the day to day operations of the team within the regional office to provide high quality services outcomes and ensure the team's capacity to meet changing organisational and client needs.
- Contribute to the ECEC and regional strategic plan by identifying and addressing emerging issues and trends relevant to participation of children in early years services, transition to school and implementation of evidence based age appropriate pedagogies for education and care services across all sectors within the region.
- Exercise professional judgement, sound decision making and assessment skills to lead and manage processes within the regional office to systematically plan a sustainable strategy to support participation of children in early years services, transition to school and implementation of evidence based age appropriate pedagogies for education and care services across all sectors within the region.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
