The Opportunity
Samsung Electronics Australia is looking for an Inventory Manager to join and oversee a team managing the warehouse inventory. This role will be responsible for managing the logistics costing and analysis for all operations.
**Role and Responsibilities**
- Lead the preparation and distribution of performance reporting to Finance, Logistics manager, Product manager.
- Provide timely and accurate monthly cost management and freight reports including insightful variance analysis
- Partner with the 3PLs to ensure SOPs are followed while meeting KPIs and costs.
- Monitor and review claim with claim officer to ensure all logistics claim been submitted and closed within the agreed time frame.
- Warehouse Inventory Management
- Manage tariff system in GERP to ensure contract pricing structure adequately reflect logistics costing.
- Creating RFQ tariff request document with rate templet and scope of work
**Skills and Qualifications**
To be successful for the role, you should have a "can do" attitude with a proactive approach. Relevant experience / skills include:
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience with Credit Risk Analysis
- Building & Maintaining internal & external customer relations
- SAP competent ( preferred)
- Experience with RFQ preparation
- Advance MS Excel skills
