We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Assistant, based out of Clayton.
In this role, you will navigate complex entity and reporting structures. You will possess a sound understanding of financial reporting, process, control, and governance principles.
**Day to day you will**:
- Perform allocated month end processes and procedures in a timely and accurate manner
- Financial reporting and in-depth analysis of cost and training figures
- Be responsible for development of budget planning for each new year
- Be responsible for financial modelling to forecast cost centre requirements
- Liaise with Bunning’s and Bunnings connect for key KPI and latest store updates
- Provide full confidential and administrative support to the Sales Capability Team, by completing on a timely basis the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly tasks as identified.
**What you will bring and develop**:
You will bring continuous improvement mindset, flexible approach and ‘can do attitude’ to succeed in this role. You will bring a curious and analytical mindset. Ideally you can demonstrate:
- Experience in an analytical role in finance, or a similar role.
- A willingness to learn and build a career in the financial space
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data
- Experience working with SAP
- High level proficiency in Excel
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
