The People & Culture Manager is an operational role partnering with management teams to implement national strategic imperatives across the NSW & ACT business. Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a diverse role to support the overall business to drive performance and capability.

The role includes the full range of people activities, including recruitment, employee engagement initiatives, culture development, remuneration and incentive program management, employment-related advice, WHS, employment law and governance and management of HRIS (Employment Hero). The position will also be responsible for delivering effective performance management processes and systems and working with the national people team to ensure alignment to national objectives.

To be successful in this role, you should have People & Culture operational expertise with demonstrated skills in business partnering at all levels, ability to manage multiple tasks successfully, demonstrated experience in establishing effective relationships, comfortable with adapting plans to align with changing business needs, have an aptitude for data and employee performance statistics. The culture of the business is positive, collaborative and “down to earth” which is demonstrated through its values. Therefore, you must have a pragmatic attitude and approach and enjoy working in a people operational management role.
