You will be working for a well-established National Finance company that offers consumer and commercial lending services through a broker network to a wide range of clients in a variety of industries.

**The role**:

- Reviewing financial statements and credit histories of existing and potential clients
- A decisive decision maker capable of making decisions within risk guidelines at speed
- Manage competing priorities to meet timeframes
- Professional, clear and concise communication to consult and negotiate financial transactions, payment terms and credit limits
- Identify areas of improvement driving innovation, efficiency and mutually beneficial outcomes for the customer and internal stakeholders

**To be successful in this role, you must have the following essential criteria**:

- At least 1 or 2 years’ experience gained working as a Commercial Credit Analyst
- An understanding of asset finance credit lending practices
- Strong analytical skills with a sound understanding of financial statements and preparation of credit submissions
- First class communication skills both written and verbal with the confidence to deal with external stakeholders
- An eye for detail
- A team player with lots of initiative and self-motivation
- Excellent time management skills
- IT Savvy with good MS Office skills and exposure to automated software systems
