**What's so exciting about this role?**

We are in growth mode and are adding new team members to our Credit team. Sitting within our flexicommercial business, you will assess and manage credit risk both within the boundaries of the Group’s credit risk appetite and the businesses commitment to service levels. Understanding flexicommercial’s place in the market and its strikezone will be critical to success in this role. If you are a commercial asset finance credit analyst who is used to working in a high volume environment in the Small Ticket space, or are someone who is interested in learning about this segment, then this could be the role for you

**What Does An Average Day Look Like?**

No day is average, but here’s an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:

- Advise on structuring and underwriting large and/or complex transactions
- Manage transaction flow within credit to ensure that service levels are maintained - goal 24 hours
- Build, maintain and develop strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders - including BDM’s and AM’s
- Maintain a culture of continuous improvement

You will also bring:

- Experience in underwriting asset/equipment finance transactions would be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of commercial finance products including operating lease, finance lease and chattel mortgage
- Tertiary qualifications in a banking, finance, commerce, economics or other related field would be highly regarded
- Strong numerical and financial analysis skills including the ability to discuss financial reports and associated information with stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and develop relationships with intermediaries, customers, sellers and flexicommercial staff
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- A commercial mindset
- Willingness to learn
