We are working with a national gas supplier who are looking for an experienced Transport scheduler to join their team on a 12 month max term contract. Great team enviorment and new office.

We are working with a national gas supplier who are looking for an experienced Transport scheduler to join their team on a 12 month max term contract. Great team enviorment and new office.

**Working hours: Full time hours - Monday - Friday 8:30am - 16:30pm**

**Start Date: ASAP**

**Duration: 12 Month Max Term contract, with leave entitlements**

**Pay rate: $35 p.h + super and accrue sick/ annual leave**

**The Role**
- Coordinate, create, schedule and manage daily operations state wide for the cylinder and bulk delivery routes
- Plan, forecast and schedule future working weeks (cylinder and bulk routes)
- Assist and resolve customer enquiries and escalate to manager when needed
- Main point of contact for transport related enquiries and assisting 20-25 transport drivers
- Compliance of drivers BFM working hours and maintenance of trucks and standards are kept
- Filing of driver paperwork/manifests
- Coordinate and assist in planning monthly safety meetings and ensure that all regional staff are engaged and full attendance by members
- Transport record keeping auditing and maintaining database
- Understanding fatigue management system and carry out audit
- Processing Invoices weekly for payment
- Liaising with relevant parties to provide clients continuous updates regarding orders and deliveries

**Role Requirements**
- Previous experience in transport scheduling or similar role
- Ability to make logical decisions based on sound analysis
- An understanding of scheduling benefits and operational financial performance would be beneficial
- Excellent communications skills in all levels of the supply chain
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve and think on your feet
- Good time management and planning skills
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office Programs
- Ability to multitask
