Systems Trainer, New Release Specialist

We have an amazing opportunity for a systems trainer to make this project their own. This role is a 9 month fixed term contract based in Macquarie Park.

This role is responsible for the successful operational transition of new releases with Metcash's Promotions Management System (Food Pillar) and will be working closely with business and project stakeholders, internal and external system users, and the external software vendor to ensure the solution meets the user and strategic needs.
The Systems Trainer will have accountability of the systems testing, training, and user support (hyper care).
What you’ll do
Manage test scenarios end to end from capture through to resolutions to meet the system go-live timelines
Deliver end-to-end user training
Main point of contact for post-go-live support for internal & external uses
Be an integral part of the project team and provide timely and accurate updates on all activities related to the project
Load business plans into the system to support user adoption and accurate system history
What you’ll bring
Excellent communication skills. Able to articulate messages in an engaging manner with authenticity and compassion
Customer focused mindset, highly collaborative, with strong organizational and time management skills
Highly favourable for skills and experience in promotions management or trading, and an understanding of the FMCG and/or Food industry
Be able to demonstrate agility and can remain flexible, change and evolve as required
Prior experience in delivering systems training in various formats of face-to-face training, eLearning, presentations and demonstrations
Desirable experience in Technical Writing and Instructional design, writing end user documentation and/or experience delivering systems and processes training for large systems or projects
