Aurizon are currently seeking an experienced Operator to be working out of our Acacia Ridge depot on a full-time basis. This role will be suited to an individual who is experienced in operating, Lifting and Vehicular Equipment and able to display superior teamwork skills, flexibility, a high level of safety awareness and excellent customer service.

**About the role**:

- Operate medium/heavy Forklifts and Reach stacker, Provision, service, clean and perform lower-level maintenance on rolling stock.
- Serviceability checks on all machines.
- Operate and maintain heavy lifting equipment (exceeding 16 tonne) and other sundry terminal and site equipment.

**About you**:

- Ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
- RS Class Drivers Licence (preferred).
- DG license would be highly regarded, but not essential (will be obtained in the course of employment).
- Forklift & Crane tickets.
- Shunt qualified. (Highly desired)
- Strong commitment to safety and knowledge of rules and regulations of operations area, Workplace Health& Safety, and Dangerous Goods.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
- A willingness to work day, afternoon & night shift (up to 12hr shifts) and including weekend work as required.
