1300apprenitce has an excellent opportunity for a **1st Year Glass and Glazing Apprentice **to join the team of our employer partner based in South Windsor.

Our employer partner specialises in manufacturing and installing double-glazed walls, shop fronts, doors, and curtainwalls. You will learn your trade from a team of professionals.

**Some of what you will learn**:

- Handling and moving glass safely.
- Cutting glass by hand and using machines
- Fabricating and assembling a range of windows, doors and screens
- Installing commercial and structural glazing products
- Reading and calculating measurements on plans accurately.
- Operation of CNC cutters

**About You**:

- Committed to completing a 4-year apprenticeship
- High level of attention to detail
- Genuine interest in hands-on work in a unique trade
- Possess a strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work with a wide range of people
- Current driver’s license, P minimum
