Data Test Analyst

**About the Role**
An exciting new opportunity to join BOQ as a Data Test Analyst within in our Data and Analytics team in Group Tech In this role you will be responsible validating data-based solutions against the business requirements to ensure a high-quality outcome is produced.

You will also have the following responsibilities:

- Working within the BOQ test and governance framework.
- Analysing requirements to prepare test plans.
- Create and execute test cases.
- Report on defects and the testing status.
- Creating Test summary reports.
- Testing including ETL, Data acquisition from files and streaming data on Azure and/or SQL server.

**About you**
We are looking for enthusiastic individual who has the following attributes:

- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Computer Science or similar.
- Strong SQL Skills is essential.
- Strong Analytical skills.
- Experienced in testing Waterfall & Agile development projects.
- ETL testing.
- API testing.
- Automated testing.
- Experience within a cloud environment (Azure is preferable).
- Familiarity with best Practices of Release / Environment management.
- ISTQB Certification is desirable.
- Python skills is desirable (Cloud Platform).
- Finance industry experience will also be highly desirable, but not essential.
