**The Role**
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced **Area Manager** to join our expanding business in this full-time position based in Sydney. Reporting to the State Manager, this role will involve overseeing a portfolio of concept and concession stores in Sydney. Key responsibilities will include:

- Delivering exceptional leadership and support to dynamic and driven retail experts
- Undertaking operational activities including reporting, audits and inventory/stock activities to maximise sales
- Undertaking people based activities such as recruitment, training, coaching, reviews and performance development conversations
- Ensuring designated stores/concessions achieve sales targets and pre-determined objectives
- Proactively support marketing/promotional initiatives and actively promote the Nine West brand
- Fostering a supportive and high-performing team environment

**The Requirements**
You will be a self-motivated, enthusiastic and experienced retail manager who is driven to achieve results and will lead by example in doing so. As well as this, the following skills and attributes will contribute to your success in the role:

- Previous experience in an Area Manager, or Cluster Manager position (ideally in a fashion-based environment)
- Energetic, self-motivated and action oriented
- Approachable and motivated to hit the ground running in this fast-paced environment
- Proven people management experience in a retail environment
- Well-developed communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and multi-task
- Unrestricted working entitlements in Australia.
