The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Team Leader (Neurosurgical Orthopaedic Physiotherapy) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 10 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide specialist clinical physiotherapy practise in the delivery of independent, evidence based, diagnosis, case management and physiotherapy for patients
- Provide consultancy for the GCHHS across disciplines and to external organisations on non-operative management of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Provide expertise to solve large-scale and/or complex clinical service or work-flow problems, service quality and improvement developments
- Provide active leadership in the clinical practice supervision and education of staff and students within Physiotherapy

About you

**To be successful in this position you will require**:

- Tertiary degree in Physiotherapy
- AHPRA Registration
- While not mandatory, possession of post-graduate qualifications within Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy or equivalent would be well regarded
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B and COVID 19
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Salary
- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $130 149 - $135 803 per annum

The Neurosurgical and Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Screening Clinics provide optimal non-surgical treatment for Neurosurgical and Orthopaedic Outpatients for the GCHHS with the aim to 'give the right intervention at the right time to the right person'. This service sits within the remit of the Physiotherapy Department. Based in Southport and Robina.
