We are currently seeking an experienced **Assurance Manager** to work with Aruma to reduce the risk of non-compliance to our obligations through the provision of enterprise transparency and the delivering of standardised compliance related procedures, tools, and guidance to the organisation. Reporting to the General Manager, Transformation and Risk, you will ensure Aruma has the right frameworks and practices in place to meet its legal and statutory obligations in relation to privacy and whistleblowing.

**About the role**
- Design and implement Aruma’s data privacy programme, policies and procedures, and conducting regular risk and privacy impact assessments to ensure Aruma is meeting its legal and statutory privacy obligations.
- Coordinate the organisation’s whistleblowing programme and maintain relevant policies and procedures, as well as provide training to new members of the whistleblowing case handling team.
- Design and maintain processes to manage other regulatory compliance matters as required.
- Develop and maintain annual maps of all assurance activities across the organisation e.g. external audit, internal audits, site inspections etc.
- Monitor and analyse results from assurance activities to identify trends and themes for corrective action or opportunities for improvement.

**About you**
- 4+ years’ experience in managing compliance and / or internal audits.
- A tertiary qualification (Legal, Business or Commerce will be viewed favourably).
- Experience in designing and documenting policies, procedures and frameworks relating to assurance and/or privacy.
- Experience in developing of assurance maps, compliance matrices, and obligations management procedures and mapping practices.
- Experience in privacy, data protection, privacy law, security, risk management, auditing and/or compliance.
- Available for urgent case handling outside standard office hours, where necessary.
