**The Opportunity**

We have a unique opportunity for a passionate and motivated professional to join our R&D team in Clayton, reporting into the Product Quality Team Leader. This is a new role to provide additional coverage across key areas of quality and customer support within our business.

You will play a critical role in managing the complaint workload of the team to ensure customers & consumers are provided with a satisfactory and timely resolution to their issues. You will also be responsible for:

- Ensure any complaints are reported and resolved in timely manner
- Conduct laboratory-based tests, field trials and on-site evaluations to assess the performance of different paint products.
- Preparing accurate reports that address the needs of the end customer with due consideration given to the risks associated with the financial or legal position of the business
- Providing timely technical advice and support for Help & Advice, Trade and Retail sales force, field service officers, marketing and other members of the Technology Group
- Conduct comparative testing and evaluation of competitor paints against DuluxGroup products
- Supervising field trials on a needs basis

**What you will bring and develop**:
This is a key customer-focused role so you’ll need to enjoy solving customer problems and bring a positive, personable approach to succeed. You’ll be juggling different tasks on a day-to-day basis so highly developed time management and prioritisation skills are a must.

Other key skills and experience include:

- Detailed knowledge of common paint problems
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Fast learner
- Strong computer skills (C4C experience highly regarded)
- Science Degree or Diploma or relevant experience
