**About the Role**

The established property team operate all accommodation which comprises primarily of shared units and houses catering to a diverse cohort of students. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive property repairs and maintenance service for the property portfolio.

- Provide a thorough facilities management and preventative, reactive & emergency maintenance service.
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning, minor electrical repairs, basic plumbing, carpentry tasks.
- Ensure staff and customer maintenance requests are completed to a high standard in a timely manner.
- Maintain grounds and common areas to ensure they are operational, safe and clean for customers.
- Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and notify the Facilities Manager of low or depleted supplies.
- Ensuring that all maintenance equipment is maintained in good working order.
- Assist with the planning and coordinating of all installations and refurbishments.

**About You**
- Sound knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical
- Trade qualifications are highly desirable, preferably Carpentry
- Proven general maintenance experience on residential buildings
- The ability to safely operate hand and power tools as well as cleaning and grounds maintenance equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management skills & communication skills
- Open Australian driving license & the ability to travel
