**THE ROLE** As a Maintenance Person, you will handle daily cleaning and maintenance tasks of CGQ properties, ensuring a safe and positive environment for our tenants. **ABOUT YOU** Are you proactive and hands-on? We seek someone with a "can-do" attitude who thrives in physical roles. - Proactive maintenance approach - Experience in property maintenance and preventive programs - Good communication skills - Flexible availability - Proficiency with hand and power tools - Valid driver’s license - Australian working rights - Commitment to safety and high standards **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** - Carryout general maintenance tasks as required - Perform vacant tenancy cleans and repairs to, including removal or assembly of furniture - Handle non-routine cleaning tasks - Report maintenance issues and supply needs - Waste management duties - Conduct general repairs and yard maintenance - Maintain professional tenant interactions **Key selection criteria** - Ability to operate power tools and equipment - Ability to consistently deliver high quality work - Ability to contribute to maintenance procedures and refining maintenance outcomes - Ability to co-ordinate with other team members and work collaboratively - Ability to identify and report on issues - Demonstrated knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety relating to cleaning and maintenance issues - Ability to undertake general maintenance tasks - Willingness to undergo a criminal history check - Drivers licence **Desirable** - Manual drivers licence **HOW TO APPLY** **Job Type**: Casual Pay: $30.61 per hour Expected hours: 30.61 per week Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift **Experience**: - general maintenance: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: - Driver Licence (required) Work Authorisation: - Australia (required) Work Location: In person
