We have an exciting opportunity for an administration professional to join our busy team providing high level administrative support to our Racing Manager.

Darby Racing is a high profile and successful Thoroughbred Racehorse Syndication Company based in New South Wales.

As racehorse ownership experience is at the core of our business, this role will require strong administration skills and a friendly communication style.

The role is full-time and will be largely comprised of in-office work based at our Head Office in Narellan NSW with the opportunity for some home-based work once established. The ability to work flexible hours, occasionally on weekends and public holidays is essential.

The successful applicant will possess the following qualities and skills:

- Highly organised
- Thorough and meticulous
- Ability to follow a task through to completion
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Effective communication and customer service
- Prompt, patient & attentive when dealing with clients
- Experience with MiStable, Ardex or Prism an advantage
- Mid-level Microsoft Word & Excel skills

Key Responsibilities include:
- The efficient processing of daily updates to clients
- Managing the timing and frequency of updates
- Providing administrative support to the Racing Manager
- Responding promptly to client queries
- Liaising with key partners on behalf of clients
- Managing the racing diary and race day ticketing for owners

Whilst this is primarily an administration position, there will be the opportunity to attend race days, trials, sales and the spelling farms dependent on the Racing Manager’s workload.

Previous experience with social media content and newsletter production will be viewed favourably.

This role has the opportunity to expand and grow. The salary will be highly competitive and commensurate with experience.
