The Branch Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the operational and strategic needs of the WoVG Grants Centre by providing high impact advice and support to the executive team and branch.
The role offers an opportunity for a high-performing and proactive individual with expertise in strategic advice, planning and / or project management to support and drive initiatives and activities and help shape the strategic direction of the WoVG Grants Centre
In this role you will provide high level executive support and strategic advice and use your excellent stakeholder engagement skills to collaborate, coordinate and lead a range of operational and strategic activities across the branch.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Experience providing considered and quality advice to executives and leaders within the public sector environment is highly desirable.
- A strong record of coordinating and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver priority outcomes in a high-pressured environment
- Well developed complex problem solving and organisational skills

- Able to operate in a complex and dynamic team environment in a new Group and Department.
- Able to provide high level executive support to the WoVG Grants Centre
- Able to effectively negotiate, communicate and build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and act in accordance with the public sector values and behaviours.
- Skilled in managing correspondence and preparing / delivering presentations and have strong skills in continuous improvement to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the Branch.

Key Accountabilities include
- Provision of high level support, coordination and strategic advice to executives and the branch including undertaking research and analysis to inform recommendations
- Support and coordinate operational and strategic planning activities and lead strategic projects as required
- Facilitate collaboration across the branch to support delivery of priorities and streamlining of operations

Technical expertise
- Experience of working with government briefing systems such as PPS/PAEC/e-briefing/ABC
- Knowledge and good understanding of the Victorian Government style guide.

Other requirements
- Experience and/or qualifications in Government with understanding of grants management will be well regarded.
- A qualification in public policy/administration, project management or a related discipline will be well regarded.
