**Location: Somersby - NSW Central Coast**
As a result of our ongoing growth and success, Crossmuller are seeking experienced Laser Machine Operator to join our mechanical team at our state of the art Manufacturing Facility at Somersby.

**The Role**
We are looking for Laser Machine Operators with experience in all aspects of laser cutting to join our team based at Somersby on the NSW Central Coast.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Experience in operating laser cutting machines and sheetmetal
- Able to maintain acceptable material cut quality
- Understanding laser cut principles and able to change cutting conditions
- Ability to check parts for quality and accuracy
- Meeting quoted time estimates and recording details
- Knowledge of cutting materials and steel types
- Maintaining weekly cleaning of laser bed and scrap trays and required maintenance
- Monitoring stock levels of consumables
- Scheduling job orders to maintain efficiency & optimum use of time
- Loading & unloading of machine when required to keep machine running
- Keeping material racks and workplace clean and in order

**To be considered for this position you will**:

- Have relevant trade experience
- Forklift Licence would be preferred
- Have experience working in a busy hands on environment
- Ability to work unsupervised and complete set tasks
- Have excellent attention to detail, quality, accuracy and safety
