Protective Fencing are a leading Australian manufacturer. Our Somersby facility manufacture High-Security welded mesh fencing, Chainwire fencing and custom fabricated solutions. Our products are distributed nationally to construction projects such as roads, rail and industrial facilities.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Working from our Somersby production facility, we seek a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our experienced production team, your duties will include but not be limited to:

- Production Machine operation, working within a production/warehouse environment.
- Operating wire based steel mesh machine.
- Some manual and repetitive tasks (Manual handling up to 20kg).
- General Maintenance (supported by our maintenance team).
- Hours of work 7:30am - 4pm (Friday 7:30am - 1:30pm) Additional hours/ overtime available.

ABOUT YOU

You will have the following attributes:

- Mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Trade background valued.
- Be reliable and motivated to do your best every day
- Attention to detail, quality and safety
- Be physically fit to undertake manual and repetitive tasks.
- A forklift licence, whilst not essential, will be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of safe operating procedures in a factory environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and unsupervised
- Be a team player and have a good attitude towards work
- Drivers licence essential

**Salary**: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
