Exciting Test Lead Position within Government Sector

Work within an exciting state government organisation focusing on projects alongside key stakeholders.

**Your new role**

Responsibilities (not limited to the below):

- Supports the implementation of quality testing methods to align with the organisation Testing Policy framework which encompasses strategies, policies, processes, templates, tools and standards.
- Develop or assist in the development of the Test Strategy, Test Plan(s) and other testing documentation.
- Training, mentoring, provides leadership and specialised advice and direction of testing standards, practices and testing delivery issues.
- Monitor and assess relevant standards for testing and review and report on system design and functional specifications.
- Operate automated testing tools and test management tools Initiate and monitor test runs, checking results according to agreed procedures.
- Collaborate with other teams and external stakeholders as required to undertake timely preparation for testing, issue and defect resolution to enable project test execution deadlines to be met.
- Experience in the planning of the system and acceptance tests and an excellent understanding of testing methodologies, tools and techniques within a large, complex IM/ICT program/project(s) environment.
- Experience in the implementation of quality testing methods and frameworks to ensure the integrity of testing and an ability to develop project test strategies, test products and cases.
- Experience in all phases of testing, including plans, resources, costs, timescales, test deliverables and auditability for large, complex IM/ICT program/project(s).
- High level analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills with a proven record in the assessment and evaluation of testing requirements within a complex IM/ICT environment.
- Ability to lead, manage and mentor a multi-disciplinary team.
- Follow policies, procedures and instructions relating to work health and safety that are relevant to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality and safe services in the workplace.

**What you'll need to succeed**

Relevant qualification within testing (ISTQB or testing experience)

It is a requirement to be, and remain, vaccinated against COVID-19.
