**About the Centre/Service**

Our centre is at the heart of Aspendale Gardens, offering a wide range of programs and services that bring people together and strengthen community connections. We operate a three-year-old and four-year-old kindergarten, and provide diverse activities including basketball, karate, and other programs for children and adults, as well as a variety of community services for all ages.

**Work Days of the Role**

Monthly meetings - Tuesday evening

**Description**
- As a **Volunteer Board Member**, you will:

- Contribute to the governance, strategic planning, and oversight of the organisation.
- Support the effective operation and sustainability of our centre.
- Share your skills, experience, and ideas to help us grow and improve our services.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated and friendly board committed to making a positive impact.

This is an opportunity to give back to your community while developing your governance experience and making valuable connections. **Who We’re Looking For** We welcome expressions of interest from people of all backgrounds and experiences who:

- Have a genuine interest in community development and engagement.
- Can commit to attending regular board meetings (approximately once per month).
- Bring skills in areas such as finance, governance, community services, education, marketing, or fundraising (desirable but not essential).
- Enjoy working in a team and value collaboration.
