We are currently looking for an enthusiastic "people person" with a can-do attitude to join our equipment hire team in Fairfield. This position involves driving a small truck (drivable on an automatic car license) to deliver equipment to and from our customers' work sites, primarily builders and trades. **On Offer**: - Early start early finish - 5 days Mon-Fri 7am-3pm + overtime paid with loading - Reliable weekly pay cycle - Access to staff equipment loan program - Plenty of variety learning about a wide range of quality equipment - Outdoors/active work environment - Build relationships with friendly repeat customers as the face of a well reputed business - Opportunity to experience success as part of a motivated and supportive team **Position Description**: Based in our Fairfield yard, in this key role you be responsible for safe and efficient delivery of equipment to and from customers' sites daily as directed by a transport manager. Hiredepot vehicles can be driven on a regular car license. Additional duties/responsibilities include: - Providing instruction/demonstrations to customers to ensure safe use of equipment without damage to persons or the equipment itself - Basic care of company vehicle - Building and maintaining relationships/rapport with Hiredepot's key customers as the face of the business on site - Safe loading/unloading/restraint of loads on/off of Hiredepot vehicles - Completing all delivery/collection tickets with utmost accuracy using software provided - Occasionally assisting with customer service and yard maintenance if and as required - All requisite training will be provided for an applicant willing and able to learn_ **About You**: - You have a current valid Australian driver’s license with a clean driving record - You are punctual and reliable - You have a positive, can-do attitude towards customer service - You have a strong work ethic - You can demonstrate attention to detail - You are eager to learn Additionally, the following qualities will be viewed favorably: - Experience/interest in any of machines/tools/trades - Ability to drive a manual vehicle **How to apply**: **Hiredepot's A-team are**: - Admirable - Adept - Accountable - Affirmative **Brief phone enquiries can be made during office hours via mobile to Patrick Gillespie **0410 163 839**.** **About us** Hiredepot is an industry respected supplier of hire equipment to many of Melbourne's best builders with branches in Fairfield and Glen Iris, facilitating over 15,000 hires.
