We are seeking an enthusiastic mechanically minded person to join our team in Glen Iris, assisting our mechanic with the day-to-day workload in our builder's equipment hire workshop.

**The role**:
Based in the workshop in our Glen Iris branch, you will be responsible for conducting checks and maintenance on a huge range of equipment from chainsaws to excavators, as well as assisting with repairs. This is an important position ensuring we can provide reliable and safe equipment in the right condition to our customers when they need it.

Occasional site visits will be required during business hours (using company vehicles provided) to attend to breakdowns and rescues on site.

**About you**:
With such a variety of equipment the role will suit people with an interest or background in vehicles, small engines, or larger equipment; as long as you're keen to learn, and happy to take responsibility for and pride in your work.

You have:

- A current and valid Australian driver’s licence
