Gowrie Victoria is a well-regarded not for profit organisation that provides long day care and kindergarten at six sites across Melbourne.

Carlton Learning Precinct (CLP) is a 98-place long day care service that also offers funded sessional kindergarten. Co-located with Carlton Primary School, Our Place and City of Melbourne maternal and child health services, parenting services and playgroups. This provides opportunity for community building through shared spaces and program connections amongst precinct partners.

Carlton North opened in 1939 and is a 76-place service operating three rooms (6 weeks to 5 years) including two integrated kinder programs. We are known for our large natural outdoor environment that allows us to embed key sustainable and Indigenous perspectives.

As a Casual Early Childhood Educator reporting to the Room Leader, you will contribute to the implementation of a high-quality early learning program by demonstrating initiative, completing tasks with mínimal supervision and role modelling professional practice reflective of Gowrie Victoria’s purpose, philosophy, and values.

**What you’ll bring to Gowrie Victoria**

- Certificate III or Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care and VIT registration or equivalent
- 12 months experience working in early childhood education
- Demonstrable communication skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships with children, families and the local community
