- Gowrie Victoria is a well-regarded not for profit organisation that provides long day care and kindergarten at six sites across Melbourne. We are currently recruiting Casual Early Childhood Educators to work across our two Carlton services.

Carlton North is our original service, opening in 1939. It is a 76 place service operating three rooms (6 weeks to 5 years) including two integrated kinder programs. We are known for our large natural outdoor environment that allows us to embed key sustainable and Indigenous perspectives and give all involved the opportunity to connect to nature and the land that we are founded upon.

Our Carlton Learning Precinct service opened in January 2020 and is co-located with Carlton Primary School, offering opportunities for community building through shared spaces and close connections with the school, maternal and child health services, parenting services and playgroups as well as the wider community.

Reporting to the Room Leader, you will contribute to the implementation of a high-quality early learning program by demonstrating initiative, completing tasks with mínimal supervision and role modelling professional practice reflective of Gowrie Victoria’s purpose, philosophy, and values.

**About You***:

- A Cert III or Diploma qualification in ECEC or equivalent
- Knowledge of the NQF and approved learning frameworks
- 12 months work experience in early childhood (preferred) in implementing programs that are inclusive and respond to the interests, strengths and learning needs of individual children
- An ability to articulate your role as an Early Childhood Educator in line with the EYLF Belonging, Being and Becoming
- An ability to work effectively in a team and engage in critical reflection
