Data & Insights Support Officer

As we continue to build our data and insights capability, we’re looking for a **Data & Insights Support Officer**to join our team. This new role plays a key part in making sure our data systems, dashboards, and reports are accurate, accessible, and genuinely useful.

**The Role**

As part of the Data & Insights team, you’ll help maintain dashboards, respond to data queries, support data cleaning and validation, and contribute to building a culture of confident, data driven decision making across the organisation.

You’ll work closely with the Data & Insights Coordinator and report to the Data, Insights & Finance Manager. You’ll be someone who enjoys digging into the details, keeping things tidy and accurate, and helping others access and use data in a meaningful way.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a love of data, strong attention to detail, and a service mindset, and who’s ready to grow their skills as part of a supportive and purpose driven team.

**In a nutshell, you will**:

- Support the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and data visualisations
- Assist with one-off data requests and help translate raw data into simple insights
- Help validate and clean data to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Support data modelling and light analysis under guidance
- Troubleshoot access and system issues related to data platforms

Support training and documentation to lift data literacy across the organisation

**We’d love to hear from you if you**:

- Have experience working with data tools like **Excel and Power BI**(or a strong desire to learn)
- Are comfortable handling data with care, and have a sharp eye for detail
- Can communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders and ask great questions
- Are curious, organised, and like things to be tidy and efficient
- Enjoy working as part of a team, but also happy managing your own workload
- Have a desire to grow your skills in data analytics, reporting, and system improvement

Understand or are open to learning about the not-for-profit or community sector
