**About the role**
The Maintenance and Projects team based in
**Stafford, Brisbane** seeks an experienced
**Maintenance Officer** to join our dynamic and experienced team who enjoys the challenge of a busy and diverse work schedule.

This
**Full-Time** position offers an exciting balance of maintenance work on-site in Stafford on Brisbane’s northside, as well as small new project work including upgrades to existing facilities and the establishment of new facilities, within our analytical laboratories.

The successful applicant will be given on-the-job training in all aspects of routine maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure they fully understand the task while always complying with ALS HSE policy.

**The essentials**
- Relevant Trade certificate
- **Welding & mild steel experience highly regarded**:

- Mechanical aptitude is beneficial.
- Excellent work ethic
- Committed to a safety culture while maximising productivity
- The ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision, whilst being committed to the work of a team
- Current driver’s license (C class) manual and own transport to and from the workplace
- Availability to undertake occasional travel to other sites/laboratory fit outs if required
- The ability to handle a busy and diverse workload
