**About Us**

PON Projects is a subsidiary of Comtex that specialise in the design and construction of GPON infrastructure and Communication Services for Aged Care, Hotels, and Residential Estates across Multi Dwelling and Single Dwelling Units.

We are seeking an experienced all round fibre technician to join our team in Brisbane, with experience in fibre hauling, splicing, testing and fault finding to become a part of our dynamic team.

**Qualifications and experience**

**Experience;**
- FIST/FOSC type joint splicing
- OTDR / ILM / PON testing
- Working in live fibre networks
- Fault finding
- Fibre to Home connections
- MDU
- Hauling and roping

**Requirements;**
- Construction Industry White Card
- Full Driving License
- Open Cabling License with Fibre Endorsement
- Hard -working and strong team work ethic
- Reliable, Honest and hard working
- Able to work autonomously and solve problems
- Ability to interpret cable infrastructure design plans
- Good time management
- Willing and able to travel for work as required
- Working in a team environment
- Min 3 years' Experience

**Responsibilities**
- Completion of projects independently or within our team
- Versatile technician, problem solving with network faults
- Rod, Roping and Cable hauling in both Greenfields and Brownfields estates
- Working in existing live joints
- Preparation and termination of fibre optic cable joints
- Daily reporting to Team Leader
- Imputing of test results, fault finding and photos into company software
- MDU and Fibre to home experience is an advantage

**Salary**: $32.50 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
