Bella Engineering Australia is a Brisbane based business, which has been operating in the communications / resource sectors for over 10 years. The company is currently expanding its team to cater to its growing demand on several project across QLD.

Bella Engineering Australia is looking for a Fibre Technician to perform the following duties:
**Role and Responsibilities**
- Preparation and splicing of optic fibre cables internal and external enclosures and frames
- Reading and understanding network plans and drawings
- Multi core count (Stranded and Ribbon) Cable preparation
- Testing and Commissioning of links as per customer requirements
- Knowledge of NBN DFN and LFN infrastructure
- Knowledge of Telstra Wideband Infrastructure
- Knowledge of Cable Hauling Practices and Procedures
- Knowledge of multiple Carrier Optical Fibre Networks
- Willing to travel around QLD

**Skills and Experience**:

- Experience in the telecommunications industry working in live carrier networks
- Construction Industry Induction (White Card)
- Current driver’s license
- First Aid (CPR)
- Confined Space ticket
- Single & Ribbon experience would be viewed favourably
- NBN enabled
- Telstra Inducted

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
