**About Client Coverage**:
Client Coverage manages NABs relationships with the Banks large Corporate and Institutional customers.
As clients of this profile have complex and diverse needs, it is imperative that NAB provide seamless access to the Bank’s full range of products and services through a focused relationship point of contact.
**Role Purpose**:
As Associate Director, you’ll be responsible for driving and managing the relationship management and strategic direction of an existing portfolio of high-profile Corporate Property clients based in ACT.
You’ll benefit from the support of a broader relationship and CME team to deliver bespoke debt and non-debt financial solutions to the bank’s client base and work collaboratively with other areas of the bank to enhance cross sell and to maximise shareholder value.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Work with the H/O and other NSW/ACT & National Directors, you’ll be responsible for the client relationship management and overall financial performance of a portfolio of clients
- Origination of new transactions in the Corporate Property customer segment. Coordinate and manage client relationships and build client advocacy within NAB
- Collaborate and work closely with key product, portfolio management and credit partners to deliver client outcomes and drive growth
- Raise the profile of NAB’s ACT Corporate Property business internally and externally
- Accountability for the credit risk quality of the portfolio; proactively manage risk and meet all policy and compliance requirements.
**Skills Required**:
**Further pre-requisites for the role include**:
- Detailed sector knowledge ideally gained across the Property sector in a Corporate and or Institutional Banking environment
- Extensive background in managing client relationships and driving client advocacy
- Proven understanding of the credit, legal, political and regulatory environment
- Strong knowledge of credit, operational, compliance & conduct risk
- Strong understanding of the strategic objectives for a portfolio of this nature
- Commercial acumen and highly developed communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
