Our Operations Department are seeking a motivated, results focused individual to provide support with load allocations, customer service and driver management. This is a critical role and the successful applicant will be part of the operations team based at Narangba in the National head office. The Operations team is responsible for the safe completion of all freight tasks. This team are the primary contact point for drivers and are required to be contactable by company mobile at all times.

The primary responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:

- Achieving customer safety goals in direct areas of responsibility and adhering to all relevant WHS/COR legislation, policy and procedural requirements.
- Coordinating and Scheduling the freight tasks, combining the correct mixture of loads, equipment and drivers to met our customer requirements, KPI's and delivery windows.
- Oversee and coordinate the planning and successful completion of all transport requirements Local and Overnight Express
- Efficient and cost effective allocation of company resources
- Build successful relationships with customers through constant communication
- Meeting key company and customer KPI's
- Assist drivers to resolve issues experienced in their work
- Ensuring staff and employees are competent to perform tasks to a high level and identify or train out deficiencies.
- Collation of all paperwork on freight movements to ensure invoicing is completed accurately
- Previous experience in a Scheduler / Allocations role
- High level of understanding of running Overnight Express Freight nation wide.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- High interpersonal skills to deal with the Varity of personality types and attitudes experience in the high stress environment of transport.
- Ability to evolve and grow in proficiency when errors are demonstrated
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail in all aspects of work
- Time efficient successful outcomes based mentality
- Ability to communicate with highly emotive and passionate individuals

Relevant Schedulers /BFM Accreditation.
- Exceptional listening and good communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Log Book hours
- A good understanding of BFM and COR legislation is required
- Organisational problem solving abilities

This is a hands on Operational position dealing direct with staff and drivers, troubleshooting various issues throughout the day. This will involve continual adjustment of resources to meet the needs of all our customers.

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brisbane, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Heavy vehicle licence (preferred)
- Fatigue schedulers Qual: TLIF0006, TLIF3063 etc (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
